City Creek Center
City Creek Mall is located right downtown Salt Lake City, Utah just south of Temple Square. Just as the name describes, City Creek has a brook that runs through the center of the mall. In addition to the creek, there are numerous outdoor fountains that create a causal and inviting environment. In the summertime children like to wear their swimming suits and run through the fountains to cool off. Also, near the food court area, local musicians often play live music. This creates a fun and enjoyable atmosphere as you shop and eat with friends and family. City creek has a great Salt Lake City location.
There is a glass retractable roof making this venue an indoor and outdoor mall depending on weather conditions. The sky bridge connects the mall on two different blocks so customers conveniently do not have to cross the busy street. This creates a relaxing shopping and dining atmosphere for visitors.
The shops at City Creek include premier department stores such as Nordstrom and Macy’s along with over 100 boutique stores. There is something for everyone. Children will enjoy the Disney store and Go! Games and Toys. Men will enjoy the Art of Shaving and suits at Mr. Mac. Women have many options including sports clothing at Athleta and Albion, accessories at Coach, Tiffany’s, Alex and Ani, and clothing at Anthropologie, Ann Taylor and J. Crew. Teens will also enjoy American Eagle, Madewell, H&M and Forever 21. The whole family can enjoy what the Apple and Microsoft stores have to offer in the latest technology. The City Creek mall directory has a great map of all of the stores and locations, which makes it easy for visitors to find the stores they are looking for (these are located throughout the mall, the City Creek directory can also be found online).
City Creek Dining

The food court offers international choices such as Mr. Sushi, Chang Chun, McDonalds, Roxberry, Chick-fil-a, Taste of Red Iguana, Bocata, Subway, Mykonos, Sbarro, and Great Steak and Potato Company. The City Creek Stores have convenient hours that include Monday through Thursday 9:00am to 10:00pm. Friday and Saturday weekend hours in the summer are 10:00am to 10:00pm. In the winter the stores close at 9:00pm on the weekends. The restaurant and department stores may have extended hours depending on various conditions.
City Creek Parking
There are many convenient underground self-park areas at City Creek. The first two hours are free and the third hour is free with a restaurant validation from one of the many dining options. Parking on the street may be difficult during busy times during the business day.
Near the customer service desk on Saturday mornings at 10:00am there is a fish feeding for those interested.
In the month of June, the Microsoft store does a free camp for youth to learn how to create apps and games. This is a unique opportunity to take advantage of.
Above the Disney store a few levels is the gym at City Creek. It provides classes, machines, and a swimming pool to enjoy and is a fun place for a quick visit (the City Creek gym is a separate charge, usually used by Salt Lake residents or those who live in the City Creek apartments).
